I am kim hwan yeon, Chairperson of the Bupyeong-gu Council.

We sincerely welcome you to the Bupyeong-gu Council website.
The basic council, the home ground of grassroots democracy and the chamber of the people’s will, opened in 1991 and has now reached its 10th term.
I offer my thanks to the residents who have supported the basic council’s development with affection and encouragement.

As the representative body of Bupyeong’s 520,000 residents, the Bupyeong-gu Council will strive to be a council faithful to its essential duty of checking district administration and proposing alternatives, a trusted council that empathizes and communicates, and a council that always stands with residents and earns their respect.

We ask for residents’ active participation and interest, so that we can do our utmost for residents’ welfare and regional development.
